mano, destreza, voz y consonancia.

Y es argumento que su voz divina
algo tiene de angélica sustancia,
pues a contemplación tan alta inclina.

-Lope de Vega

Prose translation:

Amarilis sings, and her voice lifts my soul from the orb of the moon to the angels, and no one can imitate such sweetness.

From their number it lifts me then to the unity that by itself is one, which if it were a chorus, praises its greatness when it sings.

Separate me from this world such a distance that thought ends in the Creator, hand, nimbleness, voice, and consonance.

And it is a truth that her divine voice has something in it of the angels, for it inclines us to such contemplation.
